Francesco Santini

Short CV

Francesco Santini is (since February 2009) a research fellow at the Dipartimento di Scienze, Università "G. d'Annunzio" of Chieti-Pescara. In 2003, he graduated from the University of Pisa in Computer Science, and afterwards he had been a research fellow for two years at the Instituto di Informatica e Telematica of C.N.R. in Pisa, which is still one of his affiliations. In 2009, he finished his Ph.D studies in Computer Science and Engineering at the IMT (Institutions, Markets and Technologies) Istituto di Studi Avanzati in Lucca. His interests cover Quality of Service and related formal models/frameworks based on Soft Constraint Programming and Solving. He is interested also in Biometric Identity Verification and, more generally, in Information Security related issues. Since December 2007, he spent 6 months visiting the Cork Constraint Computation Centre (4C) in Ireland.
